European Research Council (ERC) grants are the most prestigious grants in European Research.

ERC grants fund 'blue-sky' research or leading edge research across all academic fields.

Four core grant schemes are offered: Starting Grants; Consolidator Grants; Advanced Grants and Synergy Grants.

While with its additional Proof of Concept Grant scheme, the ERC helps grantees to explore the innovation potential of their ideas or research results.

Please contact our EU Research Team if you are looking to apply for an ERC grant in UL.
