Hairy Gifts and Tokens: Dr Leanne Calvert's Valentine's Media Appearance

Dr Leanne Calvert (School of History and Geography) has published a  Valentines piece  in The Conversation entitled, "Forget flowers: lovers in 18th- and 19th-century Ireland exchanged hair". The piece draws on Leanne's work on hairy gifts and tokens as courtship mementos and as handmade and homemade pornographic archives.
