How to Sign In
To access details on your library loans or to renew items, you must sign into My Library Account on the Library Search screen
- Select "SIGN IN" on the top right hand corner of the screen
- Students sign in with your UL student email address as your username, your password is the password you use to log onto a PC on campus or to log into Microsoft Office 365.
- Staff sign in with your UL staff email address as your username.
- PhD and Masters students / Postgraduate Researchers must use their student email address studentnumber@studentmail.ul.ie as their username and the password linked to that student account.

- Once you Sign In, click on your "name" on the top right hand corner of the screen, to see the option for "My Library Account" and to check your library loans and requests.
Signing in will ensure that you see your correct loan policy, it will also allow you to request a book if there are no copies available to borrow.
Once the Academic Registry updates your status to graduated, your access to the physical library and borrowing privileges will end. However, as long as your student email account remains active, you will continue to have online access to most resources in the A–Z Databases. When your email account expires, this access will end.
If you’d like to continue using the library after graduation, you can apply for Alumni Membership.
