The Glucksman Library has launched The Creative Lab, a dynamic media production space for faculty, staff and researchers, purpose-built for diverse content creation. 

Why use this space: 

  • Create engaging teaching and learning content 
  • Promote research and outreach 
  • Support strategic communications  

Features include: 

  • Record audio and podcasts – perfect for lectures, interviews, flexible learning resources, sharing research insights or creative projects
  • Create video with greenscreen – ideal for academic presentations, research dissemination, promotional content or immersive visuals 
     

The Creative Lab is a self-service space, free to use, with induction offered to first-time users.  The library offers instructional videos on Brightspace, or work with one of UL’s approved production crews for professional support. 

The Creative Lab falls under the umbrella of The Edge – a suite of technology-enhanced library spaces that provide collaborative, technology-rich environments for the UL community to advance teaching, learning and digital skills.
